黄果树瀑布，以宽101米、高77.8米的庞大体型，成为“贵州第一胜景”，远在数里之外便可听到其震撼的水声。

The phrase "Huang Xiao Xi Chi Wan Fan" (黄小西吃晚饭) is a clever Chinese homophonic reference to six of Guizhou's most iconic attractions. The word “黄” (pronouncing "Huang", meaning “yellow” ) is for the “黄(Huang)” in “黄果树瀑布(Huangguoshu Waterfall)". With its dimensions of 101 meters in width and 77.8 meters in height, it reigns as "Guizhou's Premier Landscape". The thunderous roar of its waters resonates kilometers away.

中国明代著名旅行家徐霞客盛赞“捣珠崩玉，飞沫反涌……而从无此阔而大者”。

Xu Xiake, the legendary Ming Dynasty explorer, marveled at its grandeur: "Jade beads shatter upon crashing rocks, spray surges skyward. Never have I witnessed such magnificence in scale."

作为“亚洲第一大瀑布”，黄果树瀑布还被写进了语文课本里，也是电视剧《西游记》的取景地，是名副其实的贵州“旅游圈顶流”。
